About Mexican Independence Day
September 16 marks Mexican Independence Day, a celebration of the country’s rich history and cultural heritage. It commemorates the start of Mexico’s path to independence in 1810, remembered today with traditional festivities, music, colourful decorations, and delicious foods that reflect the rich cultural heritage of Mexico. It’s a joyful occasion that highlights national pride and unity.
About our Mexico operational hub

Located near the Texas border, the Mexican city of Saltillo is known for its strong industrial base and cultural heritage. I was born in Saltillo, and I’ve lived here all my life. I live with my daughter and son. We enjoy walking around the city, especially in its parks and public spaces.
How long have you been working at Datamars?
Two years.
What do you enjoy most about working at Datamars?
We always work as a team toward a common goal. Sometimes it’s not easy, but we manage to achieve our objectives.
What do you feel is special about Mexican culture?
Here in Mexico, people are very warm and supportive. When we commit to working together, we can accomplish anything. Mexican people have many dreams, and every day they fight to make those dreams come true.

Tell us a bit about yourself?
I was born and raised in Saltillo. I live with my parents and my daughters – I deeply value family time and try to do activities with them whenever possible. For fun, I really enjoy reading, going to the movies, watching baseball and football games, listening to music, and especially spending time with my closest friends.
How long have you been working at Datamars?
I’ve been working at Datamars for nearly two years.
What do you enjoy most about working at Datamars?
What I enjoy most about working at Datamars is being part of the company and the role I play in my job. I love what I do, and I appreciate that there are opportunities for growth. Most of all, I value that it’s a company built on strong values, with great cultural diversity and the chance to connect with people from all over the world. It’s inclusive, has a great team, and above all, it fosters open communication – directly with everyone, from executives and operational staff to administrative personnel and even the CEO. It’s a place where people genuinely care about their employees.
What do you feel is special about Mexican culture?
Mexico is a megadiverse country, rich in natural and cultural resources, with a wide variety of economic activities that support the nation and offer job opportunities.
We have a strong sense of pride in our country and our roots, which is reflected in our traditions, our attitude toward life, and our strong sense of responsibility at work. Our culture is a rich and diverse experience that blends history, tradition, flavour, and human warmth, creating a unique and special identity that has left a mark on the world.
